We gaan alweer richting de zomervakantie toe. Veel van de gemaakte vakantieplannen kunnen niet doorgaan. Hopelijk kunnen we wel af en toe een dagje heerlijk naar het strand gaan. Om alvast in de stemming te komen, neem ik jullie mee naar de kust. Wat superleuk dat er weer een mooie aanvulling is op het strandthema. Degene die mij kennen, weten dat ik er dol op ben!
Voor deze kaart is een deel van een nieuw album set van Dutch Doobadoo gebruikt. Deze heb ik op wit cardstock overgetekend en daarna op designpapier.

De randen van het designpapier heb ik lichtjes aangezet met witte gesso.
De rode vuurtoren is na het embossen bewerkt met distress inkt picket fence en bij de vouwlijn tussen het cardstock en designpapier geplakt. Tegen de achterkant zit de kaartenstandaard bevestigd zodat de kaart kan blijven staan. In het midden zit de afbeelding op de ronde shaker doily. Hieromheen is een heel strandtafereel gemaakt. De vlag op de reddingsbrigade is rood-geel dus surfen is hier verboden en blijven de surfplanken dus hangen. De reddingsboeien hangen klaar maar hopelijk hoeven ze niet te worden gebruikt. Bij de meerpaal groeien diverse soorten koraal, er ligt een stuk scheepstouw met anker erbij. Tussen de grassen lopen de strandlopertjes en de zeemeeuwen zijn op zoek naar lekkere hapjes. De kaart is afgewerkt met een gestempelde tekst op de banner wat is vastgestrikt met waxkoord.
